Rise and Fall Jade

These classic ceramic rise and fall lamps are hand-made. The ceiling rose, counter weight and lamp shade are ceramic and all the metal parts are made from brass which has been given a patina. The shade and ceiling rose are hand-glazed. As a result the colour is not necessarily uniform; the glaze has a slightly crackled effect, and there are variations from one batch to the next. This is not a defect, but is part of the hand-made charm of the product. The wiring used is a grey fabric-covered twisted flex which gives the lamps its antique feel. We also offer a simple suspended version to match. Also available in natural.
