Mariette Jonbaz makes pretty household linens in the South East of France. Everything is produced in France using French materials and savoir faire. The waxed tablecloth is ubiquitous in French kitchens and on garden tables. Sadly a lot of the ones you can buy by the metre in French supermarkets are often hideous. Ours come in classic gingham checks, beautifully finished with a dotted fabric edge. This one is square and available in fuchsia.
