COPPER SINKS

Our range of copper sinks is made exclusively for us by Pierre Vergnes. Copper is an interesting and beautiful alternative to conventional ceramic sinks, both in the kitchen and in the bathroom. Copper sinks are already very popular in America, and over here it is being recognized as the perfect material for kitchen sinks, as it has anti-bacterial properties. A study at the University of Southampton has revealed that E coli bacteria don't stand a chance against copper, wheareas they survive for up to a month on stainless steel. This practical aspect is a bonus, but most people choose copper for its sheer beauty. Contrary to what you might think, copper doesn't go green with use, but develops a rather attractive patina instead. Apart from the models featured here we are able to quote for special sizes.
