French House Ceramic Lamps

These classic French lamps are hand-made the ceiling rose, counter weight and lamp shade are ceramic and all the metal parts are made from brass which has been given a patina. The shade and ceiling rose are hand-glazed. As a result the colour is not necessarily uniform; the glaze on the shade has a slightly crackled effect, and there are variations from one batch to the next. This is not a defect but is part of the hand-made charm of the product. The wiring used is a grey fabric-covered twisted flex which gives the lamps its antique feel. We also offer a simple suspended version, as well as a matching wall-mounted lamp. Available in natural and jade.
